Even those who say the stars signify rather than make fail the twins. Same sky. Different lives.

Jude’s wandering stars, and the bound seven of 1 Enoch 18 and 21, let straying become guilt. Whether those seven are planets is unsettled. Do not install a seven-planet diagram. Matthew’s Magi see a sign that leads; the narrator supplies no horoscope. Abraham as astronomer is reception, not Genesis. Philo’s sage leaves Chaldean sky-worship: creation is not the Creator.
Bardaisan tests fate with the laws of countries, and still leaves some defects to “the Seven.” Keep the mess. Origen allows inspired reading of a script, not natal technique. Pompeii graffiti name the days. Tuesday does not prove that Mars still rules. The week is a name that survived after the theology changed.
We don’t know merely because it mattered.
